Make Your Own Herbal Infused Oil Roller Ball

What you will need:

-A roller ball

-Your choice of oil(s) - If you aren’t sure which oils or plants to use, see my older posts.

-Dried flowers or herbs

-Essential Oils

Directions:

-Add flowers or herbs to bottle.

-Drop in essential oils. If you are using it on your face (including lips), you’ll want to use 1% essential oils which is 2 drops. If you wish to make a blend of several essential oils, you can combine them in a separate container then use a dropper to put them in your roller ball. If you are using it for your body, use 2% essential oils which would be 4 drops. If you are using it for a headache, you can use 5% which is 5 drops.

-Pour in oils.

-Put the roller ball on and use your oil.

Making Your Own Blends

When designing your own perfume or massage oil, start with 3 or 4 oils until you get the hang of it.  There are what are called top notes, middle notes, and base notes.  Top notes are the ones you smell first and are the most volatile. Middle notes last longer.  Base notes are heavy and long lasting.  Below are some examples.

When blending your signature scent, begin with the base note, then the middle, then the top.  How long the scent lasts and what it smells like is different for every person.
